Record of Rozen War! a.k.a. ALIBAT
AliBAT is currently best fan game (At least for me too). I had more fun with Mesogears but it's a shame it was never finished. (╯°益°)╯彡┻━┻
If only there was any way to play AliBAT online. Since it's such an old game the in-game multiplayer doesn't work and if we ever get it to work it would probably be a laggy mess.
I'd be really happy if someone cloned the game and updated it. :)
Maybe something like Touhou's IaMP networking would help.
Some posts here got deleted due to me messing up the database with addons(gomenasai!). Only thing lost seems to be Yubi post about his favourite game being Rozen Diadem, and mine talking about that we could play ALIBAT through Parsec.

I played Mesogears and Diadem recently. Both are fun!
Mesogears is very difficult at second stage though (I haven't gotten past it yet). (Walking is a bit slow though.)
Diadem has some settings you need to modify to be playable. (Got a few warning/bug messages pop up, but didn't change how it played.)

I think I didn't even make it out of Mesogears first stage...
Mesogears first two stages are piss easy, what is hard is teh realization that comes after. I won't spoil :).
